Summary: Gauss-type quadrature formulae based on rational functions are proposed to evaluated generalized Fermi-Dirac and Bose-Einstein integrals to high accuracy. The method is compared with recent quadrature methods of B. Pichon [Comput. Phys. Commun. 55, 127 (1989)] and R. P. Sagar [ibid. 66, 271 (1991)].
