A cone complementarity linearization algorithm for static output-feedback and related problems. (English) Zbl 0887.93017
The problem of reduced order dynamical feedback is considered. According to Anderson, this problem is decidable but not with clear complexity analysis. According to Doyle, a necessary and sufficient condition for its solution is given by some matrix inequalities. A linearization algorithm for solving these inequalities is presented and its convergence proved. Several numerical experiments for some large dimensions of the state space are presented.
