Higher approximation of eigenvalues by the sampling method. (English) Zbl 0957.65077
Author’s abstract: We study the rate of convergence of the sampling method, which deals with the computation of eigenvalues of regular Sturm-Liouville problems. Using computable error bounds we obtain eigenvalue enclosures in a simple way. Numerical examples are also provided.
