Graef, John R.; Yang, Bo Positive solutions of a third order nonlocal boundary value problem. (English) Zbl 1153.34014 Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst., Ser. S 1, No. 1, 89-97 (2008). Guo-Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem is used to provide sufficient conditions so that a third order nonlinear differential equation together with some boundary conditions have positive solutions. Some results of negative nature are also proved. The paper concludes with an illustrative example.
