Jleli, Mohamed; Samet, Bessem The Kannan’s fixed point theorem in a cone rectangular metric space. (English) Zbl 1173.54321 J. Nonlinear Sci. Appl. 2, No. 3, 161-167 (2009). Summary: Recently, A. Azam, M. Arshad and I. Beg [Appl. Anal. Discrete Math. 3, No. 2, 236–241 (2009; Zbl 1274.54113)] introduced the notion of cone rectangular metric spaces by replacing the triangular inequality of a cone metric space by a rectangular inequality. In this paper, we extend Kannan’s fixed point theorem in such spaces.
