On modified hybrid steepest-descent method for variational inequalities. (English) Zbl 1174.49007
In this paper, the authors present a modified hybrid steepest-descent method for solving variational inequalities. An iterative algorithm is proposed and analyzed. It is shown that the sequence obtained from this algorithm converges strongly to the unique solution of variational inequality under some mild conditions. An application to constrained pseudoinverse problem is also included.
