Fixed point results for multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. (English) Zbl 1197.54066

Summary: We prove some fixed point theorems for multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. We improve and extend a number of known fixed point results including the corresponding recent fixed point results of Y. Feng and S. Liu [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317, No. 1, 103–112 (2006; Zbl 1094.47049)] and Ch. Chifu and G. Petruşel [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2007, Article ID 34248, 8 p. (2007; Zbl 1155.54337)]. The remarks and example provide an improvement to the mentioned results.
