Generalizations of classical summation theorems for the series 2 F 1 and 3 F 2 with applications. (English) Zbl 1241.33006
The authors obtain generalizations of the classical summation theorems such as of Gauss, Kumme and Bailey for 2 F 1 hypergeometric functions and Watson, Dixon and Whipple for 3 F 2 hypergeometric functions. The obtained results are somewhat simpler and different from the already known and are obtained using a different way.
