Numerical simulation of compressible fluid flow in 3D domains with translating boundaries. (English) Zbl 1354.76133

Summary: In our paper we present a method to the computational simulation of flow problems on domains with translating boundaries. Our moving mesh algorithm, defined on special tetrahedral meshes, avoids global interpolation and re-meshing, thus it works quite efficiently on problems with strongly deforming domains while ensures conservativity.
