Constructions of some finite modular incidence structures. (Konstruktionen einiger endlicher modularer Inzidenzstrukturen.) (German) Zbl 0764.51011

Eine Inzidenzstruktur \((\underline P,{\mathfrak L})\) wird hier modular genannt, wenn gilt: (A1) \(\forall p,q\in\underline P\), \(p\neq q\exists L\in{\mathfrak L}\): \(p,q\in L\), (A2) \(\forall A,B\in{\mathfrak L}:A\cap B\neq\emptyset\),
(A3) Für \(a,b,x\in\underline P\), \(a\neq x\) und \(\forall C\in{\mathfrak L}(a,b):=\{X\in{\mathfrak L}| a,b\in X\}\) gelte \(x\in C\). Dann gilt \(\forall D\in{\mathfrak L}(a,x):b\in D\). (A4) Für \(A,B,X\in{\mathfrak L}\), \(A\neq X\) gelte \(A\cap B\subset X\). Dann gilt \(A\cap X\subset B\).
Der Autor gibt zunächst Beispiele endlicher modularer Inzidenzstrukturen an und betrachtet dann solche, die eigentlich sind, d.h. es gelten: \(\forall A,B\in{\mathfrak L}:| A\cap B|\geq 2\), \(\forall a,b\in\underline P:|{\mathfrak L}(a,b)|\geq 2\) und \(\exists a,b\in\underline P\), \(M,N\in{\mathfrak L}\) mit \({\mathfrak L}(a)\not\subset{\mathfrak L}(b)\) und \(M\not\subset N\).
