On some unsolved problems in quantum group theory. (English) Zbl 0765.17014

Quantum groups, Proc. Workshops, Euler Int. Math. Inst. Leningrad/USSR 1990, Lect. Notes Math. 1510, 1-8 (1992).
In connection with a workshop on quantum groups, the author describes some unsolved problems. We list the section titles. 1. Quantization of Lie bialgebras. 2. Does there exist a quantized Campbell-Hausdorff series? 3. “Naive” quantization of solutions to the classical Yang-Baxter equation. 4. “Sophisticated” quantization of solutions to the classical Yang-Baxter equation. 5. Other quantization problems. 6. An isolated quantization problem. 7. Quantization of some “classical” constructions. 8. Quantized Kac-Moody algebras. 9. Set-theoretical solutions to the quantum Yang-Baxter equation.
