L’Ecuyer, Pierre Combined multiple recursive random number generators. (English) Zbl 0904.65004 Oper. Res. 44, No. 5, 816-822 (1996). Several possibilities for combining two or more linear generators in a linear manner are proposed and examined for their speed and quality by theorems on these attributes. Three specific numerical examples are presented, one of them with its C-program and statistical and timing behaviour by results of computer runs with all known standard tests.
