Parameterizations of masks are important for the design of filters with desired properties. By constructing paraunitary matrices, one can obtain tight affine frames. In this paper, the author discusses parameterizations of paraunitary matrices which generate tight frames with two symmetric/antisymmetric generators (framelets). Based on these parameterizations, several symmetric/antisymmetric framelets are constructed.
