The author gives a short survey of the scientific work of Yu. P. Studnev whose main results are in the field of various type of convergence to the normal law, estimation of the rate of convergence in limit theorems of probability theory, generalization of limit theorems, investigation of problems connected with non-monotone distribution functions, quasi-probabilistic schemes and their applications to the theory of ordinary and partial differential equations. The bibliography consists of 35 references.
