Acute and nonobtuse triangulations of polyhedral surfaces. (English) Zbl 1171.52008

Call a collection of Euclidean polygons with some pairs of edges isometrically identified a 2-dimensional polyhedral complex.
The author shows that every 2-dimensional polyhedral complex has a triangulation by non-obtuse triangles.
