Measuring the abundancy of integers. (English) Zbl 0601.10003
The abundancy index of a natural number \(N\) is defined to be the rational \(I(N)=\sigma(N)/N\). Using techniques from perfect and multiperfect numbers, the author demonstrates some interesting properties.
