The Riemann hypothesis. (English) Zbl 1160.11341

Summary: The Clay mathematics Institute has offered one million dollars for a proof that the nontrivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function lie on a line. The author sketches some of the approaches to this famously difficult unsolved problem.
