An inverse problem for Helmholtz’s equation. (English) Zbl 0643.35110
The paper deals with the determination of the refraction coefficient in Helmholtz’s equation by the knowledge of a family of the solutions to this equation on two lines. The inversion problem is ill-posed and its numerical implementation is not a simple matter.
