Authors’ abstract: We consider the Veronese submanifold \(V^m\) which is a projective \(m\)-space \(P^m\) isometrically imbedded in \(\mathbb{R}^{m+{1\over 2}m(m+1)}\) by its first standard imbedding. We also consider the normal sections of \(V^m\). Finally, we show that \(V^m\) is of \(\text{AW}(3)\)-type.
