Collins, Emmanuel G.; Sadhukhan, Debashis Synthesis of fixed-architecture, robust \(H_2\) and \(H_\infty\) controllers. (English) Zbl 0996.93074 Math. Probl. Eng. 6, No. 2-3, 125-144 (2000). The Popov multiplier has been used to develop probability one homotopy algorithms for the design of robust controllers with guaranteed \(H_2\) or \(H_\infty\) performance. It is found that the numerical algorithm for robust \(H_\infty\) performance is much more computationally intensive than that for robust \(H_2\) performance.
