A method for solving a boundary value problem for a partial differential equation of elliptic type. (Russian) Zbl 1048.35501
A problem of the theory of gravitational waves on the surface of an ideal incompressible fluid is considered. The problem is reduced to solving a differential equation of elliptic type with boundary value conditions. By using certain substitutions and Laplace transforms, we find an explicit solution.
