Join spaces of linear ordinary differential operators of the second order. (English) Zbl 1104.47304

Summary: We present a certain construction of a noncommutative join space formed by linear ordinary differential operators of second order. The basic structure constructed is a quasi-ordered group of operators involving transformations of corresponding homogeneous differential equations by translations. Algebraically significant properties of the structures obtained are also treated.
