In this paper, a system of partial differential equations describing the transport of neutrons within an interacting medium is derived. For the derivation, the Maxwell-Cartesian spherical harmonics are used, and the angular semi-discretization of the neutron transport equation is considered. The advantages of the derived system are discussed. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1277.65001].
