Hu, C.; Xu, Shanying; Yang, X. A review on interval computation software and applications. (English) Zbl 1001.65044 Int. J. Comput. Numer. Anal. Appl. 1, No. 2, 149-162 (2002). This paper is mainly a review on the works connected with interval computation software and its applications. The interval computing has become a useful tool in computational science and engineering. The authors briefly review what is the aim and the main problems of the interval computing. Especially, some freely available interval computing software, and applications are reviewed. The URLs are listed as well. R. E. Moore [Interval analysis (1966; Zbl 0176.13301); Methods and applications of interval analysis (1979; Zbl 0417.65022)] introduced the interval computing in the late 1959. It has become an active research branch of scientific computation.
