This textbook describes the normalization of nonlinear ODE in a neighbourhood of its known solution (equilibrium, periodic solution, or conditionally periodic solution). Both general systems of ODES and Hamiltonian systems which have a great significance for application in mechanics are considered here. These methods of the normalization are constructive and go to computational programs on IBM. The textbook is useful for students of applied mathematics.
