Morro, Angelo Linear equations for heterogeneous acoustic media. (English) Zbl 0784.76086 Ric. Mat. 41, Suppl., 189-196 (1992). Summary: Motivated by some questionable points in standard forms of the differential equations of linear acoustics, the paper develops a careful derivation of the equations for a heterogeneous, compressible fluid. The body force is also taken into account. Comparison with some works on the subject is performed in detail.
