Summary: Ore extensions of quasitriangular Hopf algebras are considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the Ore extensions of quasitriangular Hopf algebras to be quasitriangular with the same \(R\)-structures are also given. Finally, as an application, the Ore extensions of Sweedler’s Hopf algebra and Lusztig’s small quantum group are discussed.
