Summary: The Galilean transformations in terms of \(3+1\) decomposition of space-time are discussed. A comment on some conceptual problems, such as the distinction between reference frame and coordinate frame, the sense of measurement in inertial coordinate frame, the implication of the invariable speed of light, is given.
