Křížek, Michal Conforming equilibrium finite element methods for some elliptic plane problems. (English) Zbl 0541.76003 RAIRO, Anal. Numér. 17, 35-65 (1983). The aim of this paper is to investigate finite element subspaces of the spaces of divergence free functions which plays an important role in some problems of continuum mechanics. Finally the authors showed that the solution of equilibrium finite element models can be obtained also from the system of linear equations with a matrix of similar size and structure as for compatible models.
