The book is organized in fourteen chapters including the introduction. Chapters two and three deal with the derivation of equations of mass, momentum and energy and boundary layer equations. Chapter four to seven deal with uncoupled laminar and turbulent flows. Chapters eight and nine deal with free shear flows and buoyant flows while chapters ten to twelve deal with coupled laminar and turbulent flows. Chapter thirteen deals with the finite difference solution of boundary-layer equations while the chapter fourteen deals with the application of computer program to heat transfer problem.

This is a very well written book. The topics are developed with separate headings making the matter easily understandable. Computer programs are also included for many problems together with a separate chapter dealing with the application of computer programs to heat transfer problems. This enhances the utility of the book.
