Global adaptive stabilization in the absence of information on the sign of the high frequency gain. (English) Zbl 0549.93043
Analysis and optimization of systems, Proc. 6th int. Conf., Nice 1984, Part 1, Lect. Notes Control Inf. Sci. 62, 49-57 (1984).
Summary: [For the entire collection see Zbl 0538.00036.]
An adaptive control algorithm is presented which globally stabilizes any n-th order linear time-invariant system having (n-1) left half plane zeros. Knowledge of the sign of the high frequency gain is not required for convergence.
