Puri, Madan L.; Ralescu, Dan A. The concept of normality for fuzzy random variables. (English) Zbl 0583.60011 Ann. Probab. 13, 1373-1379 (1985). The authors first give some preliminaries on fuzzy random variables and then describe an embedding theorem for the space of fuzzy sets with compact convex level that satisfies a certain Lipschitz condition. Finally they define the concept of normal fuzzy random variables in \(R^ p\) and represent such a variable as the sum of a constant fuzzy set and a random vector in \(R^ p\).
