Wang, Yong; Zhu, Youlan Numerical tests on convergence of the random choice method. (English) Zbl 0593.65085 J. Comput. Math. 4, 173-176 (1986). The random choice method has been successfully used for computing very complicated combustion problems of Z. Teng, A. Chorin and T. Liu [SIAM J. Appl. Math. 42, 964-981 (1982; Zbl 0502.76088)], which shows its robustness. In this paper, we shall observe its convergence through numerical tests. The problem computed in this paper is the ignition problem.
