This book contains a brief presentation of a 10 term course in analysis the author gave at the University of Jena. Definitions, formulations of theorems and comments are given. There are 35 chapters in the book. The first 9 chapters contain results in calculus of functions of one and several variables. Then some material is given in ordinary and partial differential equations, calculus of variations, measure theory and integration, complex analysis, operator theory on Banach and Hilbert spaces, distribution theory, analysis on manifolds, singularities, catastrophe theory, and mathematical physics (mechanics, fluid mechanics, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics and relativity theory). The book is suitable for references but is not intended as a textbook since no proofs are given. References are provided for the proofs of the results.
