The authors study positive solutions of \[ -\Delta u=au-a_ 1u^ 2-a_ 2uv/(1+mu);\quad -\Delta v=bv-b_ 1v^ 2+b_ 2uv/(1+mu) \] with zero boundary data, a and b are treated as bifurcation parameters. They then discuss the ranges of a and b for which nontrivial solutions exist.
