Fuzzy partitions of sets. (English) Zbl 0625.94022
Two fuzzy sets \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) in \(X\) are called \(W\)-separated sets, if \(\mu =1-\nu\) holds. Based on this notion, the author introduces a canonical definition of a partition of a fuzzy set, and he shows how to construct such partitions.
