The authors give a brief description of the correspondence between N. N. Luzin and the Reverend P. A. Florenskij, a Russian philosopher and scientist later executed by the NKVD. Florenskij was an elder fried of Luzin, he studied mathematics at Moscow University in 1900–1904. The correspondence spanned between 1904 and 1922.
