Berrick, A. J. Remarks on the structure of acyclic groups. (English) Zbl 0749.20001 Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 22, No. 3, 227-232 (1990). This paper contains the following interesting main result: Any finite dimensional complex representation of an acyclic group is trivial on any finite subgroup. Quite a number of consequences of this result are investigated.
