Global stability for chemostat equations with delayed nutrient recycling. (English) Zbl 0809.34084
Summary: The chemostat model with a delayed nutrient recycling term is considered. The conditions, which improve known results, for uniform boundedness, local and global stability of the models are derived. It is shown that the positive equilibrium point of the model is globally stable if the average time delay in recycling is sufficiently small.
