In this survey, the author gives an overview of the main results that he and his collaborators have obtained in the last decade on the Schrödinger operators with magnetic field. In particular, these results concern the location of the bottom of the spectrum, the location of the essential spectrum, exponential decay at infinity for the eigenfunctions and related semiclassical estimates, as well as some generalizations to systems and to the Dirac operator.
