Madore, J.; Masson, T.; Mourad, J. Linear connections on matrix geometries. (English) Zbl 0824.58008 Classical Quantum Gravity 12, No. 6, 1429-1440 (1995). Summary: A general definition of a linear connection in noncommutative geometry has recently been proposed. Two examples are given of linear connections in noncommutative geometries which are based on matrix algebras. They both possess a unique metric connection.
