Mambriani, Giuseppe Is it possible to give the concept of negative mass in mechanics a legitimacy? (Italian. English summary) Zbl 0858.70005 Riv. Mat. Univ. Parma, V. Ser. 2, 129-147 (1993). It is claimed that a consistent scheme can be devised for describing fundamental particles of negative mass, and some details of this scheme are given. The author points out that if such particles exist, they would be driven away from the Earth by the Earth’s gravitational field, so would be unlikely to be observed.
