Robust state-feedback stabilization of jump linear systems via LMIs. (English) Zbl 0863.93067

Linear continuous-time systems with jump Markov parameters are considered. It is assumed that the probability transition rate matrix has unknown elements but it belongs to a known fixed polytope. Linear matrix inequality conditions are derived for mean square state feedback stabilizability by mode-dependent and mode-independent gains. A numerical example is also given.
