Permanence and global attractivity for Lotka-Volterra difference systems. (English) Zbl 0945.92022
Summary: The permanence and global attractivity for two-species difference systems of Lotka-Volterra type are considered. It is proved that a cooperative system cannot be permanent. For a permanent competitive system, the explicit expression of the permanent set \(E\) is obtained and sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the global attractivity of the positive equilibrium of the system.
