The authors introduce the notion of nearly fuzzy Hausdorff spaces and prove that this notion is a generalization of the notion introduced by R. Srivastava, S. N. Lal and A. K. Srivastava [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 81, 497-506 (1981; Zbl 0491.54004)] and M. H. Ghanim, G. E. Kerre and A. S. Mashhour [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 102, 189-202 (1984; Zbl 0543.54006)]. In this respect, various relationships are explored. The authors observe that the class of nearly fuzzy Hausdorff spaces is strictly larger than those classes considered before.
