The stabilizability and connections between internal and BIBO stability of 2-D singular systems. (English) Zbl 1035.93061
Summary: The problem of stabilizability of 2-D singular systems is considered. A necessary and sufficient condition in terms of the existence of a polynomial solution to a Bezout identity is generalized from 2-D regular systems to the singular case. The BIBO stability condition is extended to 2-D singular systems. The detectability of 2-D singular systems is further discussed and an equivalent condition is obtained. Furthermore it is shown that a 2-D singular system is internally stable if and only if it is BIBO stable, detectable and stabilizable.
