Stabilization of inverted pendulum by control with delay. (English) Zbl 1045.70015
Summary: We consider the problem of stabilization of inverted pendulum. Unlike of the classical way of stabilization in which the stabilized control is a linear combination of states and velocities of the pendulum, here we propose another way of stabilization. It is supposed that only the trajectory of the pendulum can be observed, and stabilizing control depends on the whole trajectory of the pendulum.
