Michler, C.; van Brummelen, E. H.; de Borst, R. An interface Newton-Krylov solver for fluid-structure interaction. (English) Zbl 1069.76033 Int. J. Numer. Methods Fluids 47, No. 10-11, 1189-1195 (2005). Summary: The numerical solution of fluid-structure interactions with the customary subiteration method incurs numerous deficiencies. We propose a novel solution method based on the conjugation of subiteration with Newton-Krylov method, and demonstrate its superiority and beneficial characteristics.
