Bertoin, Jean; Rouault, Alain Discretization methods for homogeneous fragmentations. (English) Zbl 1077.60053 J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 72, No. 1, 91-109 (2005). Using a fundamental idea due to Kingman, the authors refine some of their results concerning the asymptotic behavior of fragmentations [see J. Bertoin, J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 5, 395–416 (2003; Zbl 1042.60042)]. Moreover, further applications of the Kingman’s idea to the homogeneous fragmentations are presented. For a related paper see: J. F. C.
