An atlas of graphs. Paperback ed. (English) Zbl 1080.05001

Oxford: Oxford University Press (ISBN 0-19-852650-4/pbk). xi, 454 p. (2004).
This is the paperback edition of a book first published in 1998. In the words of its preface, it aims to “present pictures of, and information about, graphs and digraphs”. The review of the original hardback edition by E. M. Palmer (1998; Zbl 0908.05001) remains an admirable overview of its many virtues. It may be desirable to emphasise that most users seem to have found the book extremely accurate, with very little complaint about errors.
Rather than go over its contents again, we merely list a few other sources of valuable tables of combinatorial data, mostly free and on the web, which may well be of interest to those who might find this book useful (which includes virtually everyone interested in combinatorics).
They include the various links from
http://cs.anu.edu.au/~bdm/data/, http://www.csse.uwa.edu.au/~gordon/data.html,
the databases of combinatorial data (and the dynamic surveys, e.g. that of Ramsey numbers) at http://www.combinatorics.org/. (Note that various information pages listed there are also useful.) There is information about designs at http://designtheory.org/, and much else. Many of these sources are updated regularly. Happy hunting!
